A good garage in Birmingham!

Ok, so the dreaded servicing time has come round and I need a good garage in Birmingham! I went to the main dealer last time and after waiting a month for an appointment and them having my car for 3 days, they didn't do the work that needed doing because "they didn't have time"!!! Never again!!!
I need a recommendation!!
Thanks!

Nothing's wrong with it but it's done 40,000 miles now and I have it serviced every year! It's a 350Z... which garage is it?

Don't let Saj touch your car. It'll never be right again:w00t:

No, I joke....

Seriously I'd say stick to main dealer services on a 350z with that many miles. It'll make it easier when you come to sell the car. On a car like that, people want dealer history imo.

I have used service stop 3 times now and found them excellent. You contact them via internet, they will give you a quote immediately, pick up your car from anywhere, and deliver it back valetted later that day. I have just searched for a quote and it was £279 for a full service

That's what I thought last time... but when I picked the car up they hadn't even bothered to change my brakes which were 80% worn! I specifically told them to do ANY work that needed doing without asking my permission first, but they failed to do so! No replacement of sidelights, no new reg plate, nothing! Not even those tiny jobs! To add to that, they did something strange to my throttle and it would make the car stall for a couple of minutes after you started the engine! No no no, never going back!!

Which dealer was it, the Small Heath one?

You need to write to Nissan and raise your concerns with them so the dealer amends their ways.

Use another main dealer? I wouldn't buy a 350z unless it had full dealer history.... Unless it was mega cheap.

These guys are good if you insist on not going to a main agent.

I complained, a LOT! They looked at the car and said nothing was wrong with it, and gave me free tyres, that was all.

It's not about the cost... if you'd read my post(s) you'd know it was about a bad experience!

Which is why I suggest you stick with a main dealer. If you have a bad experience with one you should raise it through the correct channels and go to your next nearest dealer. You're right to complain but don't be fobbed off with tyres and loose out on the value of the car when you come to sell it or trade it in.

How old is it?
