My boyfriend is moving in with me in a few months time and as a surprise I am converting a spare bedroom into a den (mostly so his computer stuff doesn't litter the living room ha)...

I bought the new 50" cheap plasma that was on here so can move the 40" tv from the living room into the 'den', I also have a crashpad gaming chair. He has every console going but I'm trying to think of other things to get him/for the room to make it cool! The rooms not very big so no pool tables etc would fit!

He's 30 but going to 18!! Any idea?

If it's just for him, maybe some girly posters on the wall. Does he have a fave?
Or how about a signed framed footy shirt.
Maybe one of those tables that the top comes off and reveals some hidden treasure inside the table ... a roulette wheel, poker chips etc?
A mini fridge to keep his beer in.

By the way ... do let me know if you ever break up lol

EDIT* How about getting a fave photo of the 2 of you together, blown up and framed.
This would also remind him of how lucky he is while sitting in his den :)

It came to £518 (after 10% off then quidco) - pretty damn cheap for a 50"

Ooft never thought of that!! He's taking his giant foos ball table so thats going in the living room (I'm only 'allowing' it because it goes with my decor LMAO!) so no more tables (he's already got a folding poker thing I need to find room for)...

Oooh a life size cut out of megan fox would be good...I already got him a signed football shirt and had it framed last year and he's already been told 'the den' is where it's going!!

Id say go with the interiors and stuff.. dont buy the gdagets for him...unless he has no clue. If he is gonnna have a den, he'd wanna buy his own taste in the TV and more importantly for an audiophile a sound system. so do the posters, popcorn maker and lil bits and bobs, and before u go spending £1000sss on TV's and the like, let him chose and decide what he wants!!
#17
BTW!! This den is purely so I don't have to watch hours of xbox/PS2 etc games when eastenders is on and so his football stuff doesn't 'mess up' the look of the rest of the flat...it's really more for my benefit...the nicer I make it....the less likely he is to leave it hahahaha!!

He'll be happy with the TV (nice sony bravia) I'm putting in the den!...it's better than the bennetts one I've bought for the living room! It'd just smaller at 40" and the right size for playing games in the room. I moved house about three months ago, the living room is huge and the 40" tv looked small for the room so would have bought a bigger tv anyway! Hmm pop corn maker good idea...he aready has some fancy surround sound thing!

LOL He does...desperate for him to keep out of my space!! It's his choice moving but he'll be commuting an extra 50 minutes to work and be 50 minutes away from his best mates...so just making the place as much his as it is mine!!

He always knows whatever I give him I only do it so he can't comment on how much I buy for myself haha!
