  I watched it either in the late 90s or during the mid 90s.
  
  It was amazing movie. I mind him meeting other loyalist at a crossing in a busy city, and when they talked they covered their mouths with their hands.
  
  Am not sure if Martin was on the ira side or the other, but my gut feeling tells me he was with the ira.

  The movie your lookin is the general, about Martin Cahill. Brill show but there was a remake I think. I may still have a copy somewhere, I'll have a look.

  bleh saw that one but wikipedia says he was killed by gunshots so dismissed that one too
