Agreed wearing a suit may make you feel like a plum but employees notice instantly how you are dressed etc.

If the interviews in the guys hotel room then I suggest something slutty.

How about a suit but have the jacket over your arm & see what feels comfortable when you get there ?
GOOD LUCK

I did it  I got offered an interview and I thought because my cv was aiming for desktop support it would be along that route, I got to the job interview and it was for an applications developer. Still got the job somehow so all's well that end's well.

7.30PM SEEMS A STRANGE TIME FOR AN INTERVIEW ? IN A HOTEL :w00t: BE CAREFUL
Phone him & say you have 2 or 3 interviews this week & can he fill you in on what job this one is for ? It's a perfectly good question ....

Think about all the professionals and sales guys you've seen. Which dress code impressed you most ?

I'd suggest a totally converntional suit, clean, plain shirt, clean black shoes and a presentable tie, properly knotted.

Smile, "good evening" and a firm shake of the hands.

Never Umm and Err. If you don't know any answers, say so and be prepared to ask intelligent questions.

Walk the rest.

Get the job and it's your round.

just got back and it was rather weird i found it to be fake, as the guy at the end was like you would need to pay £50 for training and then im like to my self i could of sworn its supposed to be the other way round and they should pay me. the job was to sell package holidays to clients which they supply the lead and was really weird one as he tried telling me we are different as we sell the products to the customer directly and cut out the middleman like thompson etc by then i was like you can book hotels and flights separate and save money there so how does that work just didn't make sense to me he goes ill call you tomorrow at 1pm surely if your the employer you would be very busy and would expect me to call.

Sounds a bit dodgy to me, keep looking:thumbsup:
#28
Avoid anything thats asks you to pay money, Sounds really dodgy
#29
this is really dodgy ............ i would search elsewhere for a job
#30
It would seem that they have basically cold called you and asked for £50. If they dod this for say 20 people a day then there is good money in it.

I would put that one down to experience and at least it has got you out and bought a suit for the next interviews that are hopefully heading your way. Good luck.
#31
Definately dodgy, avoid like the plague.

If you've applied to agencies, they will fit your skills to the roles, the agent will lead all the communication, and setup interviews with reputable companies.

It may be worthwhile contacting some more agents, and have them do the legwork for you.
banned#32
Keep away mate...if its off Reeds site I would also try and contact them as it makes them look bad associating with
#33
yer sounded very dodgy to me and the guy looked like an ****. yer will contact reed and let me know and avoide people getting ripped off. thanks guys.
