A quick message to all I have traded with on here in the past...
Many thanks to all those who have entered into and completed trades with me on this site.
Due to yet another unfounded accusation by a mod which has now limited my activities, I am going to refrain from using this site and keep all of my sales to other forums.
I have always been fair when dealing on here, sold things well below their actual value in the past, and picked up some good bargains in the process.
Again my thanks go out to MikeBeaver, Richx45, Liddle 'ol me, Khaichee, Adam3050, Mini0ne and many more that have made the trades I have completed on here pleasurable, Its just a shame a mod or two has managed to mess all of that up.
Again, many thanks to everyone.

You were deemed to be trader like by your own self admission in this thread
You repair a lot of pc's and the trade above was to help you and your customers. As a result we've placed a restriction on your account from dealing in that particular area. I don't see what point your trying to make, so If I'm missing something, do let me know.
If I had asked for a set of screwdrivers (which are also a part of my toolkit - just like the discs are) would I have been classed as a trader then?
Do you have any idea what you are talking about aScottishBloke?
That's not got anything to do with his trading restrictions.

Same happened to me.

Hi Simon_G,
In answer to the above, Yes.
However your feedback is impressive, albeit you've deflected away from the points of infraction. I think you provide a good service, your feedback shows this (apart from the one incident).
That said, the rules are fairly clear. A s a free trading zone, it works very well. Members just have to agree to adhere to the trading rules. Not a big ask.

usually ''However'' (Followed by positive comments) in that context is leading to a second chance... obviously not :|
Taken from rule 1...
How can asking for something that is going to help me in my job be classed as trader like? (as you so elequantly put it?)
If I had asked for multiple Windows discs complete with licenses etc and was then going to sell on to customers then yes I would agree that you could call it trader like activity.
The simple fact is that I was after one official Microsoft disc for each of the operating systems I was asking for so that I could reinstall the OS using the customers own license key which would then allow me to stop using the downloaded versions of the same discs I already have. I was not and do not intend to sell these on as for me, they are just as important as having a decent set of screwdrivers on hand at all times. Ask any techie, these discs are an integral part of a decent toolkit.
I may have been using them for work purposes, but unless I am passing them on, how can that be classed as trader like activity? This was all mentioned in the first post and up until now the banning due to trader like activities has not been quantified by anyone.
Which it would seem need better clarification.
I stand to be corrected though.... :)

Totally understand, but as you saw front the first post it was more of an oportunity to thank those I have already traded with and had made this site a pleasurable place to frequent.
Maybe I should be a little less thoughful eh?
It's not an unfair assumption for me to conclude that you're providing services to 'customers' in some sort of IT related field, hence the subsequent trading restriction in that area.
