This site has a great boobometer to show what happens to your boobs if you don't wear a correctly fitting sports bra while exercising.

Have you tried the shock absorber B109?
I am an E cup and it keeps me in check,it gives a nice shape to as others I have tried look like I have stuffed a draught excluder down my top.

i go the gym every day and never wear a sports bra  think i'll be considering going to get one now, cheers :)
#6
No, I think I may invest in one though. Problem I have is when i lose inches off my tum, thighs and bum, it all stays up top so I struggle to find ones that do a good job.

I go daily but would never dream of not wearing a sports bra lol. I find it hurts my chest if not supported properly.
I would definatly recommend one as when you are 50 your boobs will be down by your belly button lol

It certainly brings out the 14 year old in you, straight to the G... :whistling:

Wearing a decent sports bra and the effects of not doing so surely isn't news to you ladies?? I've known this since I was a wee lad!

They are very expensive and sometimes it tempting to make do without or wear a cheap/poorly fitting one.
I bought one from a supermarket and when I went for my gym induction the personal trainer took me to one side and told me I was going to suffer if I didn't buy a better one.

The excuse my fiancee uses for not running much.

Maybe not the best then, I'd love to get my fiancee one so she would do more running, but Ive not long bought an exercise bike and I think she will prefer that anyway.

Might get her to try one before committing to buying then.
And I agree, most blokes will slate me for this, but I've already said given then money I would pay for her to have a reduction.

ive always wanted a reduction, but im scared of the surgery,

if shes not really big then a sports bra will work i just think when you get to a certain size nothing gonna stop those bad boys

they didnt do my size in m&s for sports bra i had to get it from bravissimo £33!!!

Not to make you feel even more self-conscious but nothing amuses me more than when a well endowed woman is on the treadmill or similar equipment and nearly all the guys will stare as they walk by. It's my source of amusement through a workout, watching them walk in the door then instantly their eyes are drawn to her like magnets!

Big boobs can be a pain ..literally.
I was an A cup before having my son and I went up to a J cup while feeding him,I am now stuck at an E cup.
there are a couple of good websites that do free delivery and returns on sports bras so you could get her a selection to try and return the ones she doesn't like.
let me know if you need any links posting..

well she has nearly broken her back twice when she was younger, thus the weight on her chest causes backache as well which is not good. She is a G cup, although I said that before we consider it she needs to slim down a bit to the size she wants, but even last time she lost weight she didnt lose anything off her boobs. So not very hopeful really, but then when I met her she had just turned 16 and was a DD cup.

Well I can't personally relate to it, but as a third party who has to deal with it I can understand. Thus the reason why I have a dummies book to massages on our bookshelf! ;-)

lol I know I end up running with my arms up high close to my chest to hide it sometimes. Its worse with the mirrors in front of you so there is no getting away from the fact that you know they are bouncing!!

Think its time to invest in a proper bra!

The gym I go to has a couple of pieces of each equipment at the far corner of the gym facing away from everyone else for the self-conscious ladies.

When I was a member of one ours didn't, nor did our private one we went to. But then I have seen female only Fitness Firsts.

It's a good idea, you can tell some women get massively uncomfortable working out in front of guys.

Yeah my fiancee didnt like using the weights at Fitness First as it was all upstairs full of generally very butch men. Use to be bad enough for me, let alone her!
