I sold an item for 1p with a P&P of £2.99 (againsed ebay rules i know) they only paid the item price and not the P&P so I reported the ebayer on ebay live chat. look at their feedback history * all_in_1usashopping * why would they bid on a large ammount of 1p items unless they were going to try and rip somebody off.

Im not saying that that what i do is not againsed ebay policy but what they are setting themselves up to looks very suspicious

£2.99 postage and packing is not unreasonable. Unless of course you are selling ebooks.

Just because you listed something for 1p does not mean you have to keep your postage charges down. I know loads of people who make an extra £1 or so on postage to cover eBays silly costs. If eBay were not so bloody greedy in a all their fees then sellers could actually charge exact postage (and packing materials) at cost price.
