I'm posting this warning because I found this site through a HUKD voucher code posted a few weeks ago.

Over 2 weeks ago I placed an order (using the voucher code ofc.) - but after 4 days I'd received no confirmation email and their site seems to have no order tracker.

I emailled and 2 days later they responded to confirm they had my order.

That was over 10 days ago - they currently claim 1-4 days delivery!!

2 emails requesting an update have been ignored - my card was charged a few days ago for a sum larger than the amount I spent - I still have no items.

I guess I start fraud proceedings thru my card provider on Monday - but even if they deliver and fix the overcharge - I cannot recommend this site in any way.

I've shopped online for 5 years at least and this is the poorest service I've seen - eBay sellers are better tbh..

Never had a problem with them myself but not used them much. Hopefully your problem will be sorted soon, have you phoned them?

Yea - IWOOT is normally great at delivering.


Give them a bell & no doubt they will send it out again

Always had superb service from IWOOT. I'd get in touch with them, I'm sure they'd do whatever they can to sort the problem out.

Still no sign of the items when I left home earlier - and no reply to an email either :(

Even if the items appear (and if they don't 2 people have no Xmas pressie from me!!) I'm still going to have to sort-out the overcharging thing - so it would be nice if they would reply to emails at least...

I've avoided phoning upto now but I guess that's next thing to do.

I would be better if they had an online order status - emailled confirmations/despatch notices etc. etc. tho - like everyone else does!

Only used them once and took about a month to deliver. I think they said there was a problem in the warehouse, something to do with upgrading there computer. Still I got it in the end. Not used them since.

Have used IWOOT several times and each and every time they have been impeccable. Products delivered perfectly, when they said they would and how they said they would.

Give them a ring - there Customer Service Department is very good.

Been waiting 10 days now for items that were showing in stock. Called many times waiting min 20 mins. Outsourced call centre staff cannot provide any info as cannot communicate with the warehouse.
There's some connection with Farepak (hamper company that went bust) and they have just stopped taking orders from midday today so they may be about to fold and this may have been just another cashcow.

Utter rubbish mate, this is what it actually says:

Orders placed between now and the 2nd of January will be despatched as soon after the 3rd of January as possible.


So unless you can show me where they have stopped taking orders full stop?...............................................

We are experiencing very high call volumes at the moment. We are despatching all outstanding orders this week. If there is an item out of stock we will despatch the rest of your order and advise you by email. Please bear with us in the meantime. Thanks

I took this off the contact page... all outstanding orders will be out this week - any out of stock will follow by the sounds of it.

I say give them til Friday lunchtime and then call. No need to panic - bear in mind it is Christmas soon and there are properly a billion people wanting things....

I have used IWOOT over a dozen times in the last few years.
They have always had outstanding customer service, the best I have experienced of any online retailer.... until Christmas 2007!

The order I placed in December took an age to arrive, I didn't receive a confirmation email...nothing! I didn't even receive a response to an email I sent to their customer services, querying (spelling?!) my order.

However, they sent a letter to customers last month (Feb 08), sincerely apologising for their dreadful service pre-Christmas & post-New Year.

I am going to give them another go today, so I'll let you know if it hasn't improved!
Like I say, they have been absolutely superb in all but one transaction so far, so I'm willing to give them another chance!
