Hello,

As you are aware GameStation are currently selling Fallout New Vegas on Xbox 360 for £19.99 (Instore & Online). So you purchase this.

Then at Argos they give £32 trade in (so a voucher with £32 quid on it)

Argos are selling god of war 3 and heavy rain at price of £14.99 (brand new and sealed). You can reserve them or just go to the store to pick them up. Advantage is you can check stock online, so there is no run around.

So with the voucher you purchase the above two games.

Making each game £10 quid if you like.

So really good bargin for two massive titles on the PS3. Also for your trouble you are left with a nice £2 quid on your argos voucher.

Was thinking of doing this, but I would have no time to play games at the moment, so hope you guys can enjoy this idea.

We have had these threads before - why cant you just say that you make £12.01 profit and you can spend it on whatever you want.

Like:
Way to get a dining room table & 4 chairs for cheaper: buy Fallout: New Vegas, sell it to Argos, then buy one of Argos's dining room sets.

Way to get a trampoline for cheaper: buy Fallout: New Vegas, sell it to Argos, then buy one of Argos's trampolines.

When doing these deals does anyone factor in the cost of time and travel. true you could say i am on free time and i can walk to each store thus achieving the maximum from the situation. Most cases though it will involve either public transport or using the car in most cases these cost money.

Buy vegas £20 go get Heavy rain £15 + £17 back = £3, do the same again but this time buy god of war, do it as many times as you like in fact, im always buying stuff in argos so the vouchers are used, or just give to family or friend that is buying from argos and exchange for cash if you want, but cant be bothered as there is usually something i want from argos.

Went to argos today and traded 1 in, they would not accept more than 1. Price is due to change tomorrow morning. So as shop is shut - this has technically expired.
Any idea what trade in is at ASDA - as I still have a copy of Fall out to trade in!

Not really no.

Forgot to say if you cant bring anything positive to the thread, please dont post.

I am trying to help people out, you are getting two of the best PS3 games for a tenner. So your argument is totally irrelevant.

I had no problem trading in 2 copys, i even un wrapped the copys i had just bought in front of the guy, but he could not find what price to give me for each copy, so i told him to check online and it was there, all the print outs they had did not even have it listed, he did not say trade in was finishing tomorrow to me, but i did not ask.
