I don't get the 'hybrid' thing

aren't they just rechargeable batteries that come with charge in, or am I missing something?

Those batteries are the same ones I got in the homebase clearance for £1.50 almost a year ago.

They keep their charge a lot longer than normal rechargeables.

no they are the equivalent of the normal batteries, except they hold their charge longer if you dont use them. They are good for remotes for example. Normal ones will only last a few months before loosing their charge, whereas these will last for about 3 times that.

rechargables have a mAh rateing and there are different types ie1800mAh/ 2000mAh/2200mAh
what are these, coz bigger the number the better they last:thumbsup:

The normal ones will charge up and then go dead again after a few months even if you dont use them. These ones hold their charge for longer.

"Nimh batteries will begin to lose their capacity after charging when stored. They will lose as much as 1-2% capacity per day and after a few months of storage at room temperature will be mostly discharged. "

You must have special batteries.
