If it isnt one of em its the other-13 year old daughter came home with her report card-got A1 for every single subject-mrs barky and I were well chuffed. So now she says "what are you going to GIVE me for getting those results??"

After she is just back from a school trip to china which cost 1200 quid plus 300 spending money??

I need to lie down in a well darkened room. I have created a monster.

My parents have mentioned a graduation gift for me, but I have no idea what I want (and would settle with nothing tbh as I'm pretty happy with what I have and don't want them wasting money on something unimportant or not necessary atm).

Going to be a very interesting couple of months though so I may take them up on the offer depending on what happens in the next few weeks...

Tell her work is its own reward.

Now on an unrelated note, perhaps you would like to visit my website? www.domesticbattlearmour.com

Our prices are very reasonable.

Had this with my youngest, not the brightest of kids but worked his socks off, told him I'm going to buy him a new bike, omg it's gone from one that cost about £170 (my budget) to one that cost about £500..it needs to have this, have that, bla bla bla and thats to add to the new footie boots he wants for next season grrrrrrrr should have just shut up and said well done

My 10 yr old got Star of the Week, and said where's my 50 quid as a reward !!!

He's still waiting for it :-D

Tell her "Your mother and I will give you the most valuable thing we can give you...Our love, pride and happiness that you have gotten such wonderful results!"...If that doesn't get the reaction wanted add "Oh and an early gift of a trip to China in which you have already gracefully accepted..."

tell her you need to take a photo of her as you are so proud and want to put a well done pic in the local paper!
