My PS3 stopped working (downloaded a required update-it immediately stopped reading discs). It was out of warranty so i asked Sony to fix it for £99. They picked it up and, one week later (today), replaced it with a "re-manufactured one" as they couldn't fix mine. Today I finally managed to play the new Call of Duty game on my 'new' PS3....Guess what, it broke in exactly the same way as my last console (after the same update), and now am waiting for Sony to replace it again.
this is rediculous - they've sent me a broken console which, might i add, was VERY dirty on the back. this replacement was not fit for purpose, so they're replacing it. How do i know the same thing won't happen again?? i might aswell fork out an extra £80 for a new console to save all these phone calls and lugging a fat PS3 around central London so Sony can pick it up in work hours.
Can i complain to someone other than Sony, they don't seem to give a monkey's....
