Ive already managed to install Win 7 on it from a flash drive, cant remember how I got it to boot from USB though, I hit random F keys until I got one to work, just tried to boot a live linux distro and cant get it to work, any idea of how to get it to comply? The bios has no options selectable for USB boot.

Probably same F key as the NC10 if anyone knows that?

You need to change the boot order in your netbook's BIOS to allow the USB memory stick to boot first before the hard disk - you'll want to download the following guide to refer to how to do this to get it set-up.

Support for N130-13B SAMSUNG - English User Manual
http://org.downloadcenter.samsung.com/downloadfile/ContentsFile.aspx?CDSite=US&CttFileID=2388722&CDCttType=UM&ModelType=N&ModelName=NP-N130&VPath=UM/200911/20091102135102359/NP-N130_XP_Manual_v1.2_eng.exe

Edit - Quick list of steps, which you can see in the user manual (it's from page 90 onwards).

Rough Steps to Follow
(1) Power on the Netbook
(2) When the Samsung Logo shows, press the F2 Keyto enter the BIOS Set-up
(3) Use the Right arrow key to select the Boot Menu within the BIOS Set-up
(4) When the Boot Menu shows, use the arrow keys to select the Boot Device Priority Item
(5) When the Boot Device Priority Menu shows, select the item USB KEY from the list and press the F6 key to put it to the top to give it the priority needed to boot of the USB memory stick

Cheers, Scotty Boy!

Cheers mate I managed it somehow by hitting a random F key for a one off boot to install windows 7, wouldnt let me alter it to boot from usb in BIOS, then I discovered you need to have the usb drive plugged in to select it, bit inconvenient though as you have to do it for each different one you want to use.
