If it were me, I'd save some money and just get the 4Gb - if they want any more games on there, just delete some of the ones they don't play and replace them with newer ones :)

It's nice to have the extra space but it does depend on what it's going to be used for and how much you are planning to use it?

For the sake of £2 if it were me I would go for the 4GB for the DS .... he will be able to get loads & loads of games on the 4GB (DS games are usually 8MB 16MB 32MB 64MB 128MB) I think the 8GB would hold so many it would be confusing !
Decisions decisions ! good luck ! :)

8GB. Much cheaper on a £-to-GB ratio. :p

If its for the DSTT, get the 4, TBH, you wont need much more than a 2 gig. you can fit about 30 odd games on a 2 gig and they wont play them all at once, and when bored, just change them. a 2 gig is about a fiver on play
#19
4GB will hold about 30 of the biggest games

He has an r4 at mo, but im having that for the odd game i play, couldnt get another r4 so gone for the dstt, he is always asking for other games although he has 20 on it, and some of the games he has asked for a pretty big, hence why i dont know whether to go for the 4 or the 8

but the 8gb means when your finished with it it can be used in other electronic equipment when you need big memory
banned#22
was also planning on saving all the games i download as my lappy has need restoring 3 times and each time i lose all games i have downloaded - lol
banned#23

Burn them to DVD to back them up and buy the smaller card

Edit

and back them up to the other computer too

in the grand scheme of things does 2 pound make that much difference and the added space means you can store other files on it as well so you dont lose them when the laptop crashes

Wise words.

2 gig is plenty big enough.
How many games can he keep on the go at once.
Save your money.

yeh good point the games are quite small but if u want extra space for other things you should go for the 8gb
