Bummer! If it was clearly done deliberately, perhaps there would be CCTV footage you could use?

It makes me so ruddy mad!

I hope it wasn't deliberate and I hope that you can get it sorted at not too much expense as soon as possible. I still have the reminders everytime I wash my car, and it still gets me a long time later.

I never park in those spaces, and I'm only a little Yaris.. And I was parked within my parking space, which makes me even angrier about the deep scratch... :x

That happened to me, but the women driving the 4x4 got stuck in traffic trying to get out of the supermarket and I manged to catch up with her... she dinied it but after taking a few pictures of the damage to her car with my mobile and telling her I was going to call the police she soon stopped and gave me her details. I had a call from her husband realy sorry and paid for the car to be repaired in full and explained that it was not the first time he has had to put his hand in his pocket for his wifes parking attemps.

I watched a woman back her car onto a bollard at the end of one of those parking spots a few years ago. I was standing just feet away on the pavement. Could've made some sort of gesture or shouted at her to make her stop. But, nah, I just watched. It was something beautiful.

why not add to her misery by taking her details and handing it into customer services for criminal damage to the bollard?

When I was young (9 or 10) a traffic police car reversed in to the back wing of my dads car when it was parked at a motorway services. It was witnessed by an elderly couple who took its registraion number and stayed until we returned to the car.

The traffic cop was called back and whilst he didn't deny it, couldn't believe he was caught.

I lost faith in the police from then on.
