Hope the little fella finds a new home soon. Anyone in the West of Scotland looking to adopt? The Scottish SPCA has him at the moment. I've got 2 young kids to look after so he'd be too much for me to take on sadly.

They must have cared for the dog to leave it with all it's stuff. I would but I have an Alaskan Malamute.

I bet he gets more love and attention than homeless people.

Your assuming he was abandoned, he might just look miserable because of his train being cancelled
#6
Probably heard they were going to have castrate him, so he packed his case and ran away from home. There's probably a very attractive poodle he was going to stay with.

Are you suggesting the dog should go out and get a job?
He's dependent entirely on his owner, hope he finds a new one.

Not very responsible to leave him in an airport - there are charities specifically for people who find they can no longer take care of their pet.

How would they know that? Did they ask him? If they know because he's chipped then surely they can find the owner.

He is chipped.he was sold to someone else, and his first owner never took any details when they sold him.

If they cared they would have given it up to a shelter. Maybe they are just stupid.

Yes very sad that someone takes effort to microchip their pet...then fails to take "positive" steps when selling on

I know some on here are dead against it but I still believe that all pets should be licensed and the license fee should be enough to cover proper registration/administration. It will create jobs, give more protection for pets and if you can't be bothered to license your pet then you shouldn't be caring for them - it's called "being responsible" To many animals are dumped or destroyed because of selfish, uncaring people.

Agreed. Especially if it goes towards cleaning up the dog turds that seem to be everywhere on London streets.

1 x £10 per dog, cat or other animal (pet) or fish (per tank) - a small price but will raise upwards of £400million - enough to monitor/enforce the license fee and fund other projects etc

Agree about dogs.
Not sure about cats as they are legally regarded as free spirits and not accountable.

Just heard on the radio that over a hundred enquiries have been made from people looking to adopt.

Good for the dog. Glad to hear it will end up with a new home and probably some caring people.

If only people were this generous when it comes to helping other humans.

Plenty of people are. I suppose you offer the homeless your spare room for a night or something?

Poor dog, hope he finds a good home. I'm having fun and games with my Eurasier pup she and my Japanese Spitz are running wild lol :)

Looks like a great natured pooch. Glad to see so much interest in adopting him, I hope he finds a forever loving home soon. His story breaks my heart especially when I look at the lovable face of my own sharpei pooch curled up on the couch next to me.

Fingers crossed for a happy home !
