I claimed for my daughters last year, just told them it slipped off her knee and landed on it`s corner, breaking it in two.......... although I had to pay the first £100 she now has a brand new £500 laptop.
They didn`t even look at the damage, just paid out! :-D

I've bought a screen from ebay before .A company from Ireland , Carrickfergus infact . It was for a Advent but they had others. I ordered it on a Thursday at 3.15 in the afternoon and it was delivered to the North East of England the very next day before 12 0/clock.Great service .It cost £99.99 all in .I fitted the screen myself , so that saved a few quid . Check ebay out .

i just checked the excess and its 50 so not bad, i was told when i renewed in november that because i am over 5 years i am on maximum discount and even if i do make a claim my premiums will no longer go up now because i have been claim free! so hopefully they keep their word or i will just move insurers! :-)

That's if you make 1 claim. Making 3 at once is going to hammer your premium next time whoever you are with.
