Hi Guys,

After reading tons and tons of posts for Acer Revo's, Hubby and I are going to take the plunge and buy one to use as an xbmc; however there are tons of different threads and opinons on google on how to set up xbmc onto the revo and I would imagine quite a few are out of date!

Could someone please give me a link to to best newbie instruction manual on how to get it all up and running, or reply to this post on how to do it. I would imagine quite a few people including myself would find this useful.

Thank you in advance. Sara x

At last.... an Acer Revo thread!:w00t:

As the others have said... some decent info there.

My R3610 has arrived today, so will be setting it up in the next few days (duel boot Windows 7 and XBMC) so will pass on the info with a few tips once complete.

(PS the tips will probably be advice to avoid the parts I went wrong!):p

Hey, Dont blame me. You have an over active gadget Genome!

Well its here.....and I'm in linux typing this. Trying to work out how to even install XBMC.... God I hate Linux!

I'll just strip this and put Win7 on it with duel boot straight into XBMC.

Didnt think it was working at first. The HDMI cable I bought for it is knackered! ho hum!
