Need a little help in putting a widget/button to an online booking system.

I have the widget/code but dont know where to paste it, into the code. Do I need to create a button before I do this?

firstly, to clarify, the code you have goes to the online booking system or needs to go into it?
Is it just a link?
or is it a div?
#3
yea, you click the link and it takes to you an appointment type screen, where you are able to book a time slot kinda thing - thats for reply mate, appreicated

Book Online!

Bascially, that needs to be inserted as widget/button to able customers/clients to book their own appointment slot, but not 100% sure how i do it

Basic button link then, with your own button image where ever.
Txt is recommended too for when images are blocked and helps search engine ranking.

Did an example but should have guessed html is blocked to protect site.

Here's a simple example
But also making a txt link is beneficial for search ranking etc, although for a booking page you may not need/want google etc. indexing it

< script src='https://my.salonium.com/javascripts/widgets.js' type='text/javascript'>
< a href='#' onclick='saloniumRegistration(341);'>Book Online!

This is what I need to link matey.. this is direct from the booking/appts website

Just back,
What you have is a txt link, the "Book Online!" should become the link if you insert it in your html.

Let me just test...

Might be useful to see the code for your webpage. Paste it into pastebin.com as HUKD won't format it properly.

But basically what you have there is the code for creating a link which says "Book online!" and when you click that link (it's just text, not a button) you will go off to the booking form or whatever. If that's sufficient for your needs, but paste it into your webpage code otherwise you'll need to create a button and link to widgets.js code to it. Can't remember the code for that off the top of my head but can find out if you need help..

Disco you need to put the script src code in between the head tags or after the final body tag but before the end html tag..

Put the next line () anywhere between the body tags. Insert it where you want the link to appear.

Should look like this:
http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg311/vinnyabdn/Script.png

But as Faev says script is best in header
The txt link (second line) can go where ever you want on same page.

Above I tested and worked.

You could also replace the "Book Online!" with an image: < img src="something.gif" >
within the second line.

Would prefer a button/widget - I think all that code I pasted needs to go directly into somewhere, but perhaps, replacing BOOK ONLINE, with a actual image of a button or summit

Use the exact code I have given in the image above, I did test it with no probs, it loaded a window for completing a booking.
But as faev said the 1st line is best within your head tags (header)
You can put the 2nd line and as many as you want anywhere you want it on the page, or to use a button image use what I said above instead of the Book online text.

so the first line in my Page Template, but the second line wher-ever I need the link? - i'll try anyway until someone confirms otherwise

It's so simple to do, insert the first line of code into the HEAD tags and the second line in between the body tags,

If you really can't work it out, email me @hotmail.co.uk with the file you want to add it too.
