Advice: How best to spend Clubcard vouchers?!

Hi Everyone,

I have been collecting Clubcard vouchers for a while now and I have some that run out at the end of May.

I haven't used them before for stuff apart from money off shopping (which I now know is a waste!) and I quite fancy using them for travelling/holidays this year and wondered if someone else has done it? Who it was with and was it easy? etc

Thanks in advance
Amanda

We're staying at The Hilton, Deansgate in Manchester for a city break this weekend with ours- Should've cost us about £300-
it was really straightforward to sort out :)
Haven't used them to go abroad yet though x

If you dont want to use the vouchers send them back into us and we will put them back into your account
You dont have to use them before the 'valid until' date, phone clubcard and they will give you an address to send them back to, im not at work and cant remember the address.

thats if you dont want to spend them

otherwise go here for a round up of what to do with them, you get 4x the value of your clubcard voucher when its turned into a deals voucher.
if you want to know more about the deals etc go to the customer service desk and ask for a deals leaflet.

Me and the OH pay for the MOTs and services with ours at Nationwide Autocentres, aswell as the odd meal out etc.

Sell them on ebay, they go for around double the 'face' value. I sold £142 worth of vouchers and received just over £300.

we personally use ours for meals out. We normally have enough to go out one every month of the year using clubcard vouchers. Saves us alot of money and gets us a nite out once a month x

If you like theme parks thats a good way of spending them, there are 100's of deals you can redeem them way,its simple as sending them off,or if they got an eVoucher on them you just redeem online.

I use mine for annual RAC cover and airport parking. Very handy, just a week or two off this time because i've run out and had to pay for my parking for once! (tokens should be arriving in the next week or two)

I never knew about sending them back.... I might do that to give me more time to save up for a couple of breaks abroad.

We are thinking of Brussels on the Eurostar and a flydrive to the states or something.

Thanks guys... you have been great. :)

P.S If anyone else has used them for booking something abroad can you let me know where you got the best deal etc?

Jenny my advice would be to send in a letter with youe clubcard details etc, the office will look at it then look at your account,

To be honest we have a system called NGC and it shows whether or not you have used them...which you havent so im sure they might just add them back to your account,
give them a sob story lol
