Hi thinking of joining the world of iphones as can't help feeling left out of the whole world of apps, lol

I'm on o2 sim only and happy with that, getting the phone through them seems well over the top price wise.

Need an idea of prices 2nd hand please and differance between 3g/3gs/4g as have no idea. Don't need loads of storage as already have 2 old pods for music. Also whats the camera like on these as I currently use my phone cam a lot.

Thanks in advance for your help

Camera is terrible on iphone 3g/3gs so you'd be looking at the iphone4

Thanks, really though how did they get away with such big price tags if camera ****? even £100 phones have 5mp camera's (mine did last yr anyway) so I guess that means i'm looking to save up more money then as this is the newer one :(

Because they're Apple...They never make a completly good phone so that they can release a new one with a couple of more features added that should be there in the first place.

The camera isn't awful. It's not a replement for a proper dedicated camera, but for the odd snap here or there it is absolutely fine. There are plenty of websites out there that show you exampels of pictures taken with it, just google.

iPhones rule! Long live the iPhone. New one out in the Summer, so you might want to hang on a bit.

Every photo blurs because it can't focus as well as only working in high light.

Lol, every photo does not blur, I would put that down to the inability of the users. As I said in my earlier post, there are lots of example photo's online proving how good the pics can be.

I'm not too sure its a good idea for someone who's obviously anti-iphone to be giving advice! (_;)

I have the Iphone 4 and the camera so far is pretty good, not had any issues with it. I also like it that it store the location of where you took the photo, so you can bring up a map and look exactly where you took them.

I know there are a lot of Iphone haters around especially the android users, but at this moment in time i think the Iphone is the best one out there, it is also very useful for me for work purposes as well and the Android cant do that yet with some apps you can get on the Iphone

my partner and i have been using iphones for a few years now, and they take pictures and very good pictures, now any digital camera suffers in poor light conditions and i have had a firmware version 3.13 i think that made the camera slow which meant if anything moved even slightly it would result in a blurry picture but that was fixed and apple addressed it as a memory issue by other processes hoggin it.

all other firmwares, on 3G and 3GS have been fine on the camera, full of colour and very good pictures!

I've got an iphone myself! lol. Why give crap advice though to suck off apple? Everyone knows the iphone has the worst camera but other than that its great.

I have to agree the camera on the 3gs is not the best and can be blurry if you dont hold it perfectly still and no Im not a hater before anyone says it. I own one and love it but no phones perfect.
