Advice on buying a cheap laptop

Please can you recommend me a cheapish laptop, mainly going to be used for Facebook and MSN, getting confused with all the specs so if anyone can point me to any suitable links will be very helpful

there are still a few left on the dixons recon...we got the £239 avent 2gb 160gb. Im sure they will replenish anyway..

Bit far for you to travel to Ashford, if your buying refurb I would recommend getting to look at it first or at least check the returns policy.

Some are real good and some are real bad, for what you want to do you don't need high spec so you will easily pick something up in your budget. Most likely get something new for around the 280 to 300 mark

netbook, 15" or 17"

got some good deals at tesco at moment.......... get a acer netbook 10" (i think) for less than £200

they are facing the tv's

also get dells reduced down to £330
