Advice On Choosing Best Digital Camera Of 2!

Please can anyone in the know advise me on which will be the best digital camera for me!
My 2 choices are between the Canon Ixus 75 and the Sony DSC-W80.
I really am a complete novice when it comes to cameras so need one that is easy to navigate. I want a go[U od all rounder and will be intending to enlarge photos but only to around A4 size at max. Will be used for family indoor shots as well as nice holiday beach shots.
Any advice will be gratefully appreciated. Looking in region of £100- £150 max. Oh and like a nice compact one. Thanks.

Can't answer your question on the above cameras but this site has always served me well for good honest reviews :)

Hi, I would highly recommend a Casio Exilim. They are easy to use, small and with a battery life second to none. I have the 8.1 mega pixel model and it takes superb photos. Take a look anywhere on the internet for them, especially Ebay. Hope this helps

Not sure which to recommend of the two you've mentioned, the Canon lacks IS and the Sony doesn't get great reviews although it does have IS.

If you can squeeze the Panasonic FX33 into your budget I think it's worth considering, unlike most compact cameras it has a wide angle lens which is also stabilised, the camera itself is very compact. I find the wide angle very useful especially on compacts as if you're shooting indoors you often don't have room to step back further and try to fit everything in. I also think IS is highly valuable and something most people will benefit from.
