hi

I got my daughter a DSI last christmas and now the sound has stopped working - I cannot find receipt and I wondered how I can get this fixed, I am aware that I will have to pay for it to be fixed - just not sure who fixes them.......

thanks

If it is in warranty you may be able to use a bank statement as proof of purchase, I have done that in the past.

When you say stopped working what exactly does it / does it not do?

Does DS / DSi have a factory restore setting?

Just Googled this, and it seems you can reset it:

On the Nintendo DSi Menu, use the stylus to select the Settings ("wrench") icon.
Select the right arrow to reach the forth page, then select "Format System Memory."
Choose this to erase all saved data, and return the system to the state in which it was purchased
What data will be erased?
• Data saved on the system memory, such as software
downloaded from Nintendo DSi Shop.
• Changes made to the System Settings
