flying for the first time ever 2moro and want to get clear what luggage we're allowed to take. on my invoice it states that between our 4 passangers ( us 2 parents and our 2 little uns) we're allowed to take 2 bags with a combined weight not exceeding 64kg... our bags weigh no more than 20 kgs each (just weighed them) now I have 2 bags that I wish to carry on the plane as hand luggage... 1 is a rucksack and 1 is a small trolley case ( fits into the measurments required) what weight is the max allowed to carry on board? just checked and it says 20kg, is that right?? seems a bit much for hand luggage?? anything else you think I may need to know?? bit nervous can you tell???

lol just re-read the bit I read and I think it was the same bit refering to hold baggage! what is HOLD BAGGAGE? is that the carry on bags or the checked in bags?? I'm sooo confused

as long as you can lift it yourself into the over head lockers and its within the size restrictions it will be fine

hold baggage is checked in bags-not flown easyjet but usually use ryanair-they do have a weight limit of 10kg for carry on bags.

checked baggage goes in the hold (suitcases etc) isnt it 10 kilos for hand luggage each passenger - depending on age?

mine are 5 and 2 and are going to be so hyper tomorrow!! lol  so my cases to be booked in should be ok? they are large suitcases weighing just under 20kg each and my trolley case and rucksack should be ok to carry on the plane?? I'll weigh them in a mo but they've not got a lot in at all. my tummy has butterflys!

most airlines are 5kg for hand luggage, but not sure about these cheap airlines, where u can carry on bags rather than have it in the hold luggage. have a good time.

Some people obviously cannot read..

Just make sure that you only have one item of hand luggage each, no more, that includes handbags etc.

Severe restrictions on liquids in hand luggage as well, no sharp items.

Enjoy.
