heya u lovely bunch,..... i have a nikon camera thats about 3 years old and getting tired on me. so looking fot a new one. wana spend about 100 quid ish in it... there are cameras with 12 mp for that much, but as they are just normal fotos i am taking of kids and are gona be developed normal size, its a bit pointless to go up so high. i heard things like anti shake count for more considering what im buying for. also, lens size.. is that standard on standard cameras? cos the bigger the better but i dont want something too pricey. hope im making sense....

jus need someone to steer me in the fight direction regarding cameras,
what to look for
what are the best websites
good makes etc

thanks... :)

Fuji S5700 on Amazon £104.99 not one bad review out of 49.

I bought this myself a week ago and I am very pleased, you will need a memory card and case it will be around £125 in total.
