i meant the software, not the games, i had hell trying to set up the R$ and just thought it be easy as daughter knows how to use these, is the layout of games etc, the same

By R$ I assume you mean R4.

All the cards have different micro firmware. The DSTT card has two files on the card, plus the games. It also doesn't have moonshell built in.

DS Fire Link Cart..
You can just drag and drop straight onto the card..(The games you have for the R4.)
Nothing to install..

I have had some game saving problems with it though.

Moonshell allows the playing of MP3's and the display of Jpegs etc on the DS.

Some carts have this built in, others do not, and need you to install it.

It's not a necessity, but I put it on my son's DS because it stops him taking out my i-pod that cost me £150 out with him.

It doesn't cost anything, it's just another file that is on the Micro SD card.

Oh, the DSTT that col gave a link to is the cheapest, you can get a 1GB Micro SD card for £4.29 from play.com that will hold approx 25 games.

Yes, a 2GB card is fine.

This DSTT with 2GB Micro SD card would be the one I would buy.
