Advice required on an item purchased on here please.

I purchased an item from a member on here a few weeks back, I followed the forum rules by obtaining their address and landline number, I paid by bank transfer.
I have still not received the item, I have phoned them a couple of times a week and each time am told that the item will be posted.
I have also contacted admin asking for advice but the person has not been on here since, all they can do is PM them, which I have also done, 8 times.
There is also another member who purchased an item on the same thread, he has not received his either.
Is there anything else I can do?
Please dont post with the usual 'ring them' remark as I have followed the procedures.

A few things...
1..Keep ringing them. More than once a day. It will soon get them in gear to avoid the hassle.
2.. Be firm.
3.. Tell them that you dont want to but that you will open a small claims matter if it is not received within a week. They will be liable for the full charge as you will clearly win
4..Dont know how expensive it is but you could arrange for a courier to pick it up if it is high value. Then all they would have to do is hand it over..

I don't think there's much you can do through here. Maybe mention that you'll be nearby at some point and will come and pick up the item? If they're fobbing you off and don't actually have the item they'll likely come out with excuses as to why you can't....

What was the value of the item? Sometimes it's best to cut your losses....

As you have their details then its a Small Claims court issue, send them a letter stating a deadline for refund or the item(keeping a copy),send it RMSD,if no joy then straight to
