Advise on a new PS3 Headset under £100
Basically I have got Turtle beache px21 that are now broken as the mic wount work and is the second time they have broke. The first time they broke I got it replaced as it still was in its warranty.
I have looked around and the Sony Ps3 Wireless Stereo Headset looks nice but is there a better one out there and for less than £100..?
Any advise or experience with PS3 headsets would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Your lug holes get warm after a while, but nothing serious
I've had stuff from them and it's always in great condition, warranty included also and if it's just for ps3 then you could prob sell the bluetooth puck for about £20-25 making them even cheaper.

Don't take this the wrong way BUT I have really been turned off by Turtle Beach and I'm now questioning the quality of there products.. I loved my px21's (RIP).. :'l

Ha ha, i've only had a couple of there headsets and to be honest I don't really like using headphones, even though they give you such an advantage on multiplayer so I just bought the very bottom turtle beach so it's just a headset as found the microsoft wired and wireless are no good over party chat.
I imagine they are worth something, but not very much, i've seen a few bundles of faulty turtle beaches that don't go higher than about £10, crazy as I imagine they are pretty easy to sort out. Where did you buy them from and how long ago? It might be worth finding out what your rights are as you may well be eligible for a replacement or for the seller to fix them.
I'd look into the sale of goods act and all of that, try find out what the expected life of a headset is.
I've heard people have been able to get a tv fixed or replaced even if out of warranty because the expected life of a tv is 6 years and even if only a year warranty companies will refund after this time they just wont advertise it and you may have a bit of a struggle getting them to do so.
I can't really remember much so i'm not the best to advise, if it's before a certain time the company has to prove that you haven't damaged it but if then if it's after longer then you have to prove you haven't created the fault (I think).
Anyway might be worth swotting up on all the regulations that they are bound by and try contacting them first by phone and then if unsuccessful by letter, obviously threaten them with trading standards and it wouldn't hurt too contact them first either to find out exactly where you stand, last time I did it was pretty easy to speak to someone who helped a lot.
Could be worth a try, might get a refund/replacement.
