Hi can someone give me some advice please on a really irritating situation?
Here goes. Me and my lady recently moved house and had to use Virgin media for our phone line and internet connection. We didn't wanna go with them because all our friends have nothing but trouble. We;ve just had to upgrade our internet connection too at a rip off price. Because we were paying for 10meg and getting 2meg! Now we pay for 20meg and get 7-10 on a good day but that's another story!!!!
Anyway within the last fortnight we've been absolutely bombarded with annoying sales companys ringing every 15-MINUTES, every week day.
How the hell has this happened? when we never give our number out to anyone, apart from family that need it!
Have those idiots at virgin media sold our phone number?
I will call them when I get some free time (if i can get through) and get them to explain!
Has anyone else had this problem with them? We didn't get it with BT at our old place.
If so? what can be done?
We can't unplug our phone because of elderly family may need to get in touch!
For now all I can do is keep telling these asian call centres to pi55 off.. I don't need another contract phone lol..
