Well i would check to see if you're covered because you're probably going to have to refund him.

proof of posting is nothing on ebay ,paypal with side with the buyer as you cannot prove it got to them - he/she will be refunded and prob playing your game.

always use a trackable service

its up to you to get it to him.
All you can do is ask him to wait another week see if it arrives and if not refund him and claim from royal mail.

Unless you sent it trackable and you can prove he received it you will be refunding him

why would you send something to malta? you've probably been scammed

Tell him that the postal systems are getting congested at the moment with Christmas coming up then ask him politely to wait as it could take 3/4 weeks to turn up (ie 15 working days for the UK and whatever Malta has set for items gone missing).

I would hazard a guess you may have been stitched up. If he raises a dispute let it run it's course to allow extra time to turn up, then if still not there claim of Royal Mail.

Thankyou every one for your advise, I havent had any problems before sending abroad so didnt think this would happen, I only sent it by airmail which is what i quoted him when he asked to bid. I have mailed him back to wait a few more days and to check his mailing office, I think I shall have to be more careful and not accept bids out of the uk.

I don't send much abroad and i won't send anything over 20 quid either.

I won't send to Italy either,their postal service isn't the best,so i avoid.
