agreed, please post up some photos of the wife, including a piece of paper with your name on it, so we know she is yours and in your possesion.

You can make your own with Calibre. You can find thousands of books online. I do this for my Sony eReader. I probably would have gone for a Kindle if Amazon had got their act together sooner.

If she has an iDevice such as a iPod touch, iPhone or iPad then just go for iBooks :) or download kindle on one of them

Alternatively if she has an android device, download kindle on there.

Failing that get a kindle and books can be downloaded for free ;)

I have a Sony e-reader and an iPad and with books there is no competition. The e-reader wins hands down every time. The iPad wins when viewing magazines, indoors.

I`ve got a kindle , it is a great bit of kit . e-books are varying in price at the moment , it depends on what type you read really , there are thousands of classics to be had for free and new authors do freebies regularily .I read a Stephen Leather thriller at the weekend for two quid as an example. i doubt you would have any reason to not like the kindle , the 3g verson is worth the extra cost because of the ease of use it brings . : )

Kindle uses e-ink so it is just like reading a book. It's light and durable.

They are fine in bright sunlight with no reflection whatsoever.....unlike mobile phones and iPads.

They work at their best in bright lighting situations , they go pure balck and white with no reflection.
great for holidays - take guide books , language guides , and google map where you are going with the 3g , all in the one thing - the size of a dvd case .. : )
