They don't have to be classics just what means the most to you (as I will now demonstrate)

Mine would be Dare by The Human League.

very tough choice, couldn't pick a single one. So i'll go with a few, Defenitely maybe - oasis, pearl jam - ten, Chili peppers - californication, verve urban hymns, van morrison - best of, those are just a few. Wait i've wrote all that out then remembered its the brits, but the brits are getting more international, so there you go.

Which is the whole point of asking for just one, anyone can list their favourites, I wanted to make it harder and tie you down to one. go on pick one!

My choice is a live album (if allowed!) Pulse by Pink Floyd.
I suppose any Floyd album(Gilmour) would be my fave but this one has all my best songs on it!

Nine Inch Nails - Broken, not really an album, more of an extended EP but brilliant none the less.

my 3rd choice, it pains me that people prefer the ashcroft led urban hymns (still a quality album just not a patch on a northern soul)
