Called up to cancel Tiscali broadband a few months ago because they were not giving my Mum a wireless router
Also because as my Mum is with o2 mobile she could get the £7.50 broaband deal with a wiress router etc.
I was astonished when the Tiscali retentions guy told me he could beat o2 prices and he would increase speed to 8Mb and give us a wireless router all for £4.99 for 12 months. + phonecalls
Unfortunately it really was too good to be true because after 3 telephone calls to billing/sales/retentions I am being given the runaround.
They are still charging £15.99 + calls
The initial calls I made they told me that they didn't know why this hadn't went through and would sort it out for us through their admin
The call I made again today, they told me to again call sales, I did this and the person told me that this deal does not exist
She said the only thing I could do was to cancel the account and sign up for the £4.49 for 3 months. Aye right
She also said I could have the phonecall I made to the £4.99 retentions guy traced at a cost of £10.
She gave me the number to call
They are well at it and I would like to know what we should do next
I would really like to cancel the direct debit on these chancers
Any help would be appreciated
