Okay so been looking for an hour for "2 double rooms" in London either by "liverpool street station" or "old street station"

the best price I found was: Travel Lodge, London City Road, £170 each for 2 people sharing,

We need it for next friday, sat and we leave on sunday.

If anyone knows anywere you can get it cheaper would be appreciated. Been racking my brains out looking everywere, but £85 per person is a bit steep.

If you can help thanks, if not dont matter.

Do you really need to be that close? Why not spend an extra 10-15 mins on the tube and find a hotel near Victoria station? We often stay in that area and usually pay in the region of £50-£70 a night for a family room (2 adults, 2 young kids). Last couple of times have used lastminute.com for this. Never the Ritz but always acceptable and saves quite a bit.

Try www.priceline.co.uk and make your own bid. Got the Hilton at Angel for £50 a room or there is www.hotwire.com which tells you the price first but in dollars. Both excellent sites
