To get rid of the T-Mobile logo, you need to de-brand the phone.

personally, i dont use the 5800, so i wouldnt know all the ins and outs, but to get rid of logos and apps like web n walk, just needs a simple de-branding.

Where is the logo coming up?

If you're talking about the logo which comes up when you turn on the phone - pretty sure that can be turned off through the Phone settings menu.

The Free Ovi Maps can be obtained from Here

Just plug the phone into your PC with the supplied USB cable, and select 'Mass Storage' from the options on the phone screen when it pops up.

Then copy and paste the installation file you downloaded onto the phone's memory card. Then unplug the phone and go to Applications > File Manager, and double tap on the installation file and it should install :)

As for downloading country maps then you need to install the Nokia Ovi Suite on your PC, it can be obtained from Here

The WLAN scanning option should appear in the Connectivity menu (Main Menu > Settings > Connectivity) - above the Bluetooth option there should be the Wireless LAN option.

Also, you can try 'downgrading' the firmware to a lower version - mine is on V 31.0.101 - although you may have a different version of the 5800 so this might be different (I have XpressMusic version)

I'll admit its a bit of a hassle but its nice when you have the free maps working

now you I could kiss got the free maps, not via the link as it wouldnt download on to my computer properly so did it on my mobile, got the WLAN thing back after 40mins on the phone to nokia I had to restore the original factory settings as the update was interupted for some reason thats why it hadnt reappeared where it was supposted to. also it is the express music model I have its great isnt it?

so no longer need to throw my phone out the window, great cause I love it really, anyway rep on its way if I could give you 10 I would:thumbsup:
