Comedian Steve Coogan is bringing back cheesy Radio Norwich DJ Alan Partridge for a new series on the internet.
Coogan's comic creation split opinion in Norfolk, with critics claiming he made locals look stupid, but others enjoying the shows.
Now the radio host, whose catchphrases include “back of the net”, will star in 10 12-minute online episodes in the autumn.
Coogan, 44, accepted an offer from beer giant Fosters to write the short episodes as part of its comedy promotion. They will be produced by his TV company Baby Cow, which has made hits including Gavin and Stacey and The Mighty Boosh.
