So if you take the Parliament as step one, the SNP Government as step two - step three is independence, so I think we are two-thirds of the way there."

Can't argue wiith that logic and the way the labour party are imploding in england coupled together with the nonentities that make up the labour party in Scotland then Salmond will never ever have a better chance to convince the Scottish people that independence is the way forward.

Salmond has been pretty good at slagging off the Westminster parliament for their handling of the banks.

Your would have thought the former economist for one of the very banks in question would have had a little insight into future events.

Yeah, well done Salmond. Because groups always prosper when they split away from the greater whole and go it alone.

Christ, how I wish that fat ugly waste of flesh would have a heart attack and die.

Totally stand by it, even for the infraction points it'll invariably earn me. Words can't express the hate I feel toward Salmond and his crew. They're basing their entire political agenda on small-minded national pride, and this ****ed-up delusion that we're something bigger than we are. We aren't. We don't do **** for the world other than produce oil and haggises, and give us fifty years for our oil reserves to run out and the extinction of haggises, and where will we be? Utterly ****ing ruined. Now, how can I bring kids up in a country that I know has no future? I don't want to leave here, but I'm not seeing Salmond gving me much choice with this "OCH AYE, BRAVEHEART!" ******** of his.

Death. Please, god, do it.

Whilst I support independence, I despise Salmond and his manifesto breaking ways. The man is an idiot.

BTW, the plural of haggis is haggis, dxx.

I find this post one of the saddest things I've read in a while.

To have that little pride in our country or in fact yourself saddens me. If all you think we have going for ourselves is haggis and oil then maybe you should move to a country where the only prospects for your children don't amount to chasing haggis about fort william or trying to find a couple of tins of castrol of the coast of aberdeen.

Repped.
