Wont be very fast being 200 watt... Get atleast 350watt if you want any speed out of it... youll get a max of 10mph out of the 200w one fully charged

they also struggle to get up any hills had 2 diffrent types in the past ended up selling both

Thanks for your help. My concern with the faster models is that maybe they are a bit to fast for a 10year old. Will try and find somewhere local so I can have a go on both. How fast would the 350 go? Would it be to much for a 10 year old?

Thanks for that. We live in East Lincolnshire so are lucky to even see a hill. Makes me wonder though if it will struggle on grass also if hills are a problem. Which makes did you have? .

I got a 350 watt one when i was 13/14 (17 now) And it went about 13-15mph... Came off it a few times (I didnt wait for the ice to melt when i took it out haha) still got the old thing in the garage now haha doesnt work i dont think.. but aslong as he gets used to it he should be fine...
