Starting with the phantom menace in 2012,lucas is converting them all to 3d for cinematic release.

Just give us the blurays george, and make sure they are perfectly mastered and then make something new ffs-this takes flogging a dead horse to new levels methinks.

Jar jar binks in 3d-I can barely contain my boredom!

Would be better off spending his money trying to pretend Episodes I, II & III never existed and it was all a bad joke. lol

atleast he's waited awhile unlike Avatar with the extra 8mins within a year of the original cinema release

Am I thick? how do you make something retro into 3d, I would have thought it had to be made 3d at the time of production.

A lot of the films at the cinema have added 3D after production I'm not 100% sure but i think Avatar is still the only one truely shot in 3D proper.

can be done afterwards-they remaster it in 3d,but it will look crap-avatar was at least filmed for 3d,the harry potter movies werent and will therefore be crap-just look at the abomination that is "clash of the titans" to see how bad it is when they remaster.
