Already hate zavvi

Ordered for the first time yesterday, borderlands for the PC, was in stock, looking at my order now, says "waiting for stock pick" est dispatch date 8th january, sack that lol, gonna cancel it and get it somewhere else. I would rather pay a few quid more and get it in the next few days lol

i have no end of trouble from zavvi but i keep getting coupons so keep going back, at least the returns is freepost:)

its not zavvi - its the hut group in general. Nothing is in stock. its the most tedius waste of time store in the country. Pay extra and get from amazon, even if you have vouchers.

i dont quite get "awaiting stock pick" does tht mean its not actually in stock or does it mean they are waiting to get it from their depo thing? if so then why is the dispatch date 8th january? its bull ****, prob gonna go to town later will see how much it is in gamestation etc, prob get it on amazon later lol, do gamestation or anything price match for games?????

I got told that this meant that they wait for enough orders of the same (or similar) items, before they send their workers out into the warehouses to sift through all their stock.
No idea if this is the case or not, whatever it means, it's just terrible service.

Perhaps I'm just lucky for a change - ordered Command and Conquer on Monday (thanks Andywedge) and it arrived today.

I ordered blood bowl for the 360 from them as there the cheapest by a mile and got a estimate despatch date of 2nd february 2010 haha I emailed them to cancel my order as I didn't fancy waiting that long and got a email back the next day saying it has gone past the cancelling stage and awaiting despatch,it got despatched yesterday :) all I suggest you do is give them a quick call or email.

klkl, but ive already cancelled it, not gonna bother with them, its only 1.50 more on amazon so ive bought it there and wil get it before zavvi were gonna dispatch it lol

I have had no problems with any of my Zavvi purchases in the lead up to Christmas (Forza 3, Arkham Asylum, Borderlands, Liberty City Stories).
Had to wait a few days for one of the games to arrive but everything else was prompt.

I have two £2.50 vouchers for Zavvi but I really hate them, they generally cancel my orders as they are out of stock or can't get hold of stock. Useless idiots!

Do you get to use your voucher code again if you cancel an order that you used it on, I have to wait until February for Call Of juarez from them.

I have used my voucher here too. But it was just wasted on an order that they cant deliver because they dont have any stock
I will avoid this company and all connected with it if I can in future.
