Corn fritters-http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcT5HDdYD9mjEoPGzxwpyJOdgGaD5LZkPeka_DSInzIKnCmpqNtI
try this recipe below- i think its corn fritters (if not its just my version!!lol)

Mix some all purpose flour with egg, water, tinned sweetcorn, salt and pepper and some herbs- i use coriander or parsley). Then mix everything into a batter- similar to pancakes but thicker. just pour one spoonful on a pan and fry both sides. Eat with ketchup.

Its quick and easy to make in the mornings. My kid loves it. Hope he enjoys it. (it is one of the ways to get sweetcorn into my son's tummy)

Give him a cigarette to calm his nerves instead. he'll be able to smoke it on the way to school so he wont be late for class.

pain au chocolat, warm from the oven? scrambled or poached egg on toast? but it sounds to me like he gets a pretty large choice as it is.......no reason for you to keep searching for alternatives at his age

Sounds like alot of choice, but the letting him make his own is a good idea. It will help him to feel like he is involved with his choice and that you trust his choice also.

Do you let him get involved with making the pancakes ??? by this I mean letting him mix the batter and put his own toppings on, and the same for his cereal do you let him pour the cereal and milk ???

I do this with my four year old and she eats more of it if shes helped to make it than she does if I just plonk it down in front of her.
