I just got the Optoma Pico Pocket Projector for Christmas. It's cracking. Here is a screen shot of Mario Kart:

The only downfall is the battery life. If you have it on the highest setting it doesn't last long, but you do get two batteries with it. I usually just keep mine plugged in while I play or watch. Definitely happy with my investment. I got mine from PC World for about £250. I think they are about £230 +.

Wow nice option! That is actually smaller than the 3m one.

Do you know what resolution it projects at? I can't find that info online.

how big is this?

That is about 50 inch, maybe a bit more. They actually advertise it as "a 60 inch screen in your pocket". I have gone bigger, which affects the quality a bit but it's still very watchable.

And Admin not sure about resolution but I have watched widescreen movies on it (how would I check the resolution ?)

I found out through a quick google search that the the resolution is WVGA (848 X 480 pixels), giving a DVD quality image.
