Hitnews seems to no longer accept international customers - well it does - but under the new name of xennews - which is noticeably more expensive!

Any cheaper alternatives?

Typical... My subs ran out last week and I'd just come online to renew today!

My timing stinks :x

I've heard that Google do one for free but think it may be porkies as I can't see anything amid the bucketloads of stuff that a Google search churns out!

Nope can't see anything either - Giganews seems quite expensive....rubbish.

I can recommend Newshosting in the USA. Have been a customer for over 3 years and their unlimited package at $14.99 (around £7.20) is good value for money.

I just upgraded mine to the more expensive $19.99 package as I wanted the SSL (secure connection).

This maybe the cheapest option on paper, but your credit card provider may charge you a couple of quid extra for paying in dollers. It maybe cheaper to stick with Xennews unless somebody has found another cheaper provider that accepts PayPal

Have you seen the the astraweb Kleverig Special . $11 a month for as long as you keep the account can pay with credit card or paypal unlimited use 20 connections don't know about account sharing though. http://www.news.astraweb.com/specials/kleverig-11.pp.html. My account with hitnews has a couple of months to run it still lets me on to the payment page I wonder if I should try extending and see what happens.
