no, it has to be the same year or earlier
#2
no you cant make your car look "newer" than it is!!
[helper]#3
Dont think you can make a car look younger than it actually is.
#4
No. You are not allowed to make a car look newer** than it is.

** is that a word?
#5
Depends where the 07 is in the detail
#6
no

in short if your car is an 06 e.g. plate is SU06 RRU and you try and put SS07 UHY on they wont let you as its making the car look younger
banned#7
no you cant as it makes the car look newer.

If it is a private plate, supplied via DVLA then you can put it on any vehicle regardless of how old it is. All comments above to the contrary are absolute rubbish.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL thats the bestestest post everer

I think if it's obviously personalised then it's ok, if it's not obvious then it can't.

This is obviously new style plates as the OP say an 06 car, you wouldn't describe an old reg as an 06 car, it'd be a t reg car or whatever.
