Am I the only one that's fed up of the snow / ice?

I'd rather it chuck it down all day than have to deal with this weather. I absolutely hate it. My road is like an ice rink. If I have to stop on my road for any reason that's it, my car ain't moving for nothing.

Also, this morning when I was on my way home from taking my lil uns to school, the plonker in the car in front of me decided to indicate & stop suddenly. I was a reasonable distance behind him/her so I braked gently but my car skidded and spun 90°. The car behind me tried to stop but he also skidded & ended up crashing into my car.

I just can't wait until the weather and roads are back to normal again! Am I just a miserable cow or are there others that feel the same?!

I think the snow is lovely - as long as you don't need to go out!!!

We've been housebound since Sunday (Kids off school all week), I slipped down all 6 stone steps that lead up to my front door (now have bruises in places I didn't know you could get bruises!!) and to make matters worse, we live on a main road (A49) so they snow ploughed it which piled 3ft of snow in front of our gates so can't get out even if I wanted to!!

If snow only fell on the grass it would be lovely, its time they made a road surface that snow can't stick to.

If we had torrential rain it would freeze and make it incredibly icy. What we need is the temperature to rise.

I work on cars & they are coming in with black slush compacted into every orrifice of the vehicle & its a constant dripping down my neck & all over the the workshop floor :x we try and de-ice/snow most of them before they come into the workshop !

& the amount of people that have tried to use thier wipers or wind the window down when they are frozen

Oh no! I've had some very close calls but I've not fallen over yet!

If I did, I'd have no chance of not being noticed because every time I feel myself slipping, I squeal which kind of draws attention to myself lol

I reckon. :w00t: We had some but 99% of it all melted away.

Looks fun on TV though :-D

I am fed up of the snow too. Pretty much all buses around here are on limited routes (not going down residential roads and some buses cancelled completely) making it rather difficult to get to and from work, the roads and pavements are ridiculously icy and near on impossible to walk on let alone drive on. I am also waiting for orders from Next which are being delivered by HDN which have been stuck at Order Generated since the 2nd of January which apparently due to the bad weather!

On the plus side, I did get to leave work early as it started snowing yet again. However we are on a weather warning all weekend for heavy snow. Fun!

I hate snow, always have always will!!

It brings out the worst in people! Why do people think that it is perfectly acceptable to throw a snowball which completely soaks you through at complete strangers?! I mean, you wouldn't throw a glass of water over them ... but for some reason people think it's ok to throw snow?!

And I hate the fact you can't just get in your car and go, you have to get the engine going, scrape, etc etc .... then chances are some lorry will drive past you and kick up all the slush on the road and your windscreen scooshers are frozen up!!!

Sorry, I just really hate snow!! :)

I hate summertime too!

I prefer it when it's not too hot and not too cold either. So no humid weather & no snow please!

There's no pleasing me lol :-D

Love the snow! we have only had it very lightly here for the past week or so but it has just started coming down and has settled very quickly, I'm hoping for snow drifts haha :)
