I bought an O2 Mobile Broadband dongle from a deal on here on 20th Jan through TopCashBack. The deal was the one were you bought a phone sim for 50p which then allowed you to get the dongle for half price.
I paid £10 for the dongle and the cashback was £35 on condition that I topped up by £15 within 30 days.
I've not even connected it yet and I don't intend to use the sim that came with the dongle so any topup made would be purely for the sake of getting the cashback.
However I may have left it a bit late in the day for the cashback. It's now 31 days since I bought the dongle online and obviously it says you have to topup within 30 days.
Have I missed the boat for the cashback? Basically when does the 30 day period begin? Does it start on the day you make the order online (in which case I would be a day over the 30 days) or does it begin after I've taken delivery of the item, which wasn't until the following week, which would put me inside the 30 days and mean I could still claim the cashback.
Can anyone tell me when the 30 days begins or alternatively what would you do? Would you risk topping up by £15 in the hope that they pay out or would you just accept that you got a decent deal at £10 and forget about the cashback?
BTW the transaction didn't track either but the time / date I visited O2 via TCB is present in my earnings enquiries section.
