AMD's wont fit in Intels and vice versa.

Besides c2d is better.

whilst the first bit is generally true on newer systems the second is a bit of a blanket statement,, agreed they are more efficient at same clock speed but also cost more , and in some cases use more power, just took out a c2d 4300 on my htpc and replaced it with a amd 4850e, much better and fan runs quieter.

Athlon 64 (equivalent to P4) vs any C2D.

I know which one I would choose.
