Hey, confusing title but I was wondering say for example I had 10 copies of the same game, how many would I be able to trade in at once?

I rang GAME and they said 1 unless theres special circumstances
Rang Gamestation and they just said 1
My only other option is Cex.

Thanks alot.

"We will happily buy multiples of any item up to a maximum of 9 units. To sell more than 9 units of one item, please contact us via email."

Great, thanks, I just hope thats for in-store aswell as online.

That's cr*p that Game will only take one!! Did they say what the special circumstances were?

They didnt but im assuming its something like if you were given 2 as christmas presents or something.

Also if you trade dupe games in at CeX they reserve the right to offer you a lower price for your games. You're best off trading one in each place over a period of x amount of days, unless you want tradein..

They only accept one to stop people trading in stolen items. Its not usual for people to have multiple copies of the same game

Cex Online state...

"We will happily buy multiples of any item up to a maximum of 9 units. To sell more than 9 units of one item, please contact us via email."
But then say,
"Prices displayed on our website are offered on the basis that you are selling in one of each item; if you wish to sell multiple copies your order may be classed as a bulk buy, and as such a reduced price may be applied.
Please note that prices quoted are subject to change without notice.
"

With that in mind I'd double check with them before sending multiples if you're dealing with them by mail/online as this wording leaves things very open to (their) interpretation.

If it's instore they don't HAVE to take any more than 1. It'll sometimes depend how many of a title they have, the popularity of a title or how big a profit they're gonna make & I've lost track of the number of Cex stores (I use 4 different ones) that will try & fob you off with credit so don't go in thinking you'll clean up......
