Believe it or not, I'm not dancing to your drumbeat and shan't be flattering your self-renowned question-posing ability by re-reading your diversionary piffle above. No questions to answer here. And you'll usually find that the Member most closely following the rules gets "preferential treatment". As it stands, however, no-one is getting any "preferential treatment" by anybody. You've come out fighting because you can't find a hundred-and-fifty quid's worth of links which you should have mentioned you didn't have to hand before, during or after your sale. All we want you to do is find them and send them.

If anything I've written upsets or otherwise offends you then I do apologise but would appreciate it if you could direct your angst at whichever dark recesses of your abode might be hiding the mystery links and then lick those stamps with all the anti-moderator ire you can muster. Even then, if you're not quite done, post the envelope as sternly as I believe you think I'm a smarmy *******. So long as droom gets his items then we're all happy.
excellent reply.......

Good on the mods over there - I love that they have a forum that the threads go into when there is a dispute, and the mods actively try and sort the situation...

That seller is being a complete idiot - I hope the buyer gets his money back or the links, but it doesn't look good :-(
Background to this is - Seller sold a ladies Tag Heur watch for £550 but didn't mention 4 links were missing making the watch too small for most women. Seller gives the impression that he might have them in the house somewhere and that if he gets time will look for them and that as he sold the watch "as is" its the buyers fault.....(and threatens mods and buyer with his "legal team")

Mods and probably anyone with an ounce of sense, think otherwise.......

If i were the buyer i'd be extremely ****** off !
Seller seems like a waste of space.
I think it's reasonable to expect the watch to be the standard length as per when purchased, or for the extra links to at least be present for re-attachment if needed.

If the seller was half way decent he'd get off his ar*s & look for the missing links, or offer a refund to the value of them, ie £25 per link, 4 missing = £100 refund !!

Doent look like he gives a toss, got his money, sod the buyer ! :x
What amazes me was all the papers were missing and they still paid £550, but anyway seller is in the wrong.

Yes, that would put me off too,
but i suppose to get a good bit off the rrp of buying new some people dont mind that it's without documentation

It's a lot of cash to be out and be left unhappy
